This exciting card game was invented by a home educating father, who wanted his daughter to be able to enjoy history while learning. It proved to be so popular that soon all of her friends wanted to play, and so he decided to produce the game commercially. We have now agreed to join with him to produce this new special edition.
It is not uncommon to overhear a child declaring which House (York, Windsor, etc) a particular king or queen comes from, as this is all part of forming sets in the game. Monarchy tournaments are a regular & very popular event within home educating circles, and the cards are also on sale at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
This is a very special edition to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee in 2012, and in conjunction with the National Portrait Gallery, a beautiful picture of our Queen has been chosen to illustrate each box. Not only will you have a game that is original and enjoyable; you will have a unique piece of memorabilia to remember this important year in Britain's history.
